One of my students once called me "Chantie". That was almost 10 years ago when I just started teaching at a lovely practical SEN school in Nijmegen, Netherlands. I believe that teaching is about so much more than telling students what to do. I want to stay connected to the world, universe, my loved ones and my community.  That's why I love the courses I teach.

In 2023 I jumped on a airplane to Bangkok, together with my family.  Without any plans we discovered some parts of Thailand, Malaisia and Indonesia during 100 days abroad. Last year we visited Thailand again and discovered so many lovely patterns and temples I now use in my classes. It's a privilege to teach at the new Agora hub and be able to tutor and design 'Chanties Math Games'.

MONTESSORI COMMUNITY COURSE "Montessori Breed"

This is the most amazing course you've ever seen. I coordinated and developed the course and was privileged to teach it as well, with 4 other teachers. Over 100 students get real life assignments from the community, companies and government in the area. MATH 

I started tutoring almost 20 years ago, when my teacher asked me to help out. The curiosity for teaching started over 10 years ago when I was still working as an real estate engineer. These days I teach middle and and high school and love to use gamification in and outside the classroom. Want to join me for a outdoor lesson?
